Photography and Image Rights

Some photographs have been taken by Jardín de Mariposas La Paz staff to document the space and visits. Other images belong to third parties and are used under applicable licenses or authorizations.

Rights in a photograph and the image rights of a person shown in it are different concepts. Third-party rights remain with their owners.

Jardín de Mariposas La Paz seeks authorization before using visitor photographs on the website or social media.

When an identifiable minor is included in promotional material, we will seek authorization from a parent, mother or responsible representative before publication. Doubtful cases require internal review before launch.

Visitors may take photographs and record video during their visit for personal purposes and normally share them on social media. This policy does not seek to claim rights in photographs a visitor took.

Use of the name, visual identity, official materials or content belonging to Jardín de Mariposas La Paz for commercial or promotional purposes, including use to promote other butterfly gardens, butterfly sales, chrysalis sales or related activities, requires prior authorization.

You may request it through the official email or WhatsApp.

If you believe you appear in a photograph, that material you authored is being used, or that there is a rights issue, you may write to the official email or contact the published telephone numbers to request a review. Each request will be reviewed; we do not promise automatic removal without that review.
